2. Gjenta den samme prosedyren på hele skiens såle, deretter utfør en siste passering fra tuppen til halen (nesten 4/5 cm per sekund for Maplus GM BASE ski voks Kald og Medium, nesten 3 cm per sekund for Maplus GM BASE ski voks Varm);
3. (bland med herder) Hvis snøforholdene skulle kreve en hardere base, legg noen ARTIC BASE-pulver over GM BASE-laget som nettopp har herdet (jo høyere snøslitasje, jo større mengde pulver) og utfør en langsom bevegelse (nesten 3 cm per sekund) med voksestøpen ved 150°C, og smelt pulveret perfekt inn i den faste voksen; Maplus GM BASE ski voks
4 Frigjør skien og kanten fra det herdet voksen med en plexy-skraper; Maplus GM BASE ski voks
5. Vent i minst 15 minutter for at skivoksen skal herde og skibasen kjøle seg ned, fjern deretter overflødig voks med en skjerpet plexiskraper med forsiktig trykk;
6. Frigjør skibasen med manuell hard stålbørste;
7. Børst skibasen med manuell eller roterende hard messingbørste;
8. Børst skibasen med manuell eller roterende hard hestehårsbørste;
9. Poler skiens såle med manuell eller roterende myk nylonbørste.
